Hands-free and hygiene flushing

Touch-free flush electronics offer a significant advantage, particularly in public and semi-public areas, enhancing both hygiene and sustainability.

Hygiene Flushing

When a toilet or urinal is not used for an extended period, it can lead to residue buildup and siphon drying, which may cause unpleasant odours. A pre-programmed hygiene flush, set to activate either 24 or 255 hours after the last use, helps prevent these issues and ensures a fresher experience.

Flush plates with smart person recognition

Die Sensor-Elektronik bei den elektronisch auslösenden Betätigungsplatten von TECE geht über einfache IR-Sensoren hinaus.

With basic IR sensors, the flush is activated solely based on the amount of light reflected by a potential user. However, even light-coloured clothing passing by can inadvertently trigger a flush. Our advanced sensor technology measures both the distance of a person from the urinal or toilet and the angle at which light enters.

By combining effective black detection with resistance to changing light conditions, our toilet flush plates optimise person detection and significantly minimise false triggers.
