Quality that can be felt: TECE plates are in a class of their own

Can you recognise which flush plate you have just pushed, without looking? Probably not – unless it is one from TECE.
The quality of products can also be assessed intuitively by feeling and listening. Whether a car is from the premium segment, or is an entry class model, can be subconsciously felt when we get into the vehicle: If the car door glides gently into the lock, then the potential buyer assumes that he has just climbed into a high-quality vehicle. This example can easily be transferred, because flush plates from TECE have a similar effect on the user. Materials, solid finishing work, and the design of the product – both technically and aesthetically – leave the user with the impression of a high-quality product in every respect.
Mechanism with cushioning elements
TECE offers a wide range for every requirement, and for varying tastes. Whether standard plate, or an elegant designer piece: All TECE plates are characterised by their unique touch and a high level of operating convenience. Cushioning elements under the buttons reliably prevent rattling noises during actuation, and provide a pleasant material feeling. Without unnecessary play the plates activate the flushing, under controlled conditions. Minimum spacing between keypad and frame also underlines the high quality visually.
TECE uses different materials for the fronts of the plates. In the fields of standard and commercial building, plastic is normally used. The stainless steel and plastic plates are suitable for frequently-used toilet facilities. The plates in some series are also optionally available with anti-bacterial surfaces. For high-quality areas TECE has elegant design flush plates made of glass and stainless steel on offer. For perfect integration into the architecture many plates can be flush-fitted using a special mounting frame, and can naturally also be colour-coordinated.

Martin Feldmann is a product developer at TECE, and is responsible for the construction and development of flush plates. He and his team combine function and quality with timeless design.
Feldmann: 'When we develop a new flush plate, we put ourselves in the customer's shoes. Here the subconscious feelings of the user are especially important. Namely the feel of the surface and a pleasant push sensation. Nothing should rattle or twist – the product should be experienced as being of good quality. Widely different people with varying fields of expertise sit at the table with us. We are in close contact with our suppliers. They know best what is possible in order to produce a scratch-resistant, easy-to-clean surface, which can be produced in series. The result of this collaboration is, for example, the anti-fingerprint coating on our TECEsquare stainless steel plate. From our point of view the design also has to transport an element of timelessness. A flush plate like this will become as old as the bathroom, so the design has to be good for 20 years.'
