Controllers for more rooms: With the third product upgrade of the modular TECEfloor Smart Home smart home control system, the central unit and two additional switch modules will be available from spring 2024 and can be used to implement additional functions and applications.
Smart modules - can be combined individually
From room-by-room management to centralized control of all system components: With the TECEfloor Smart Home system, all system components work together in a real way. In order to make the installation and set-up of the system truly "smart" for the installer as well, TECE uses a modular system that is constantly being upgraded: a wide range of functions can be easily implemented or retrofitted with just one system – from heating to air conditioning and cooling, from room temperature control to dew point monitoring.
Communication Interactions
The components of the system can communicate and interact with each other. For example, the floor heating system in the bathroom works in conjunction with floor sensors and room thermostats to ensure the right comfortable temperature. When the reversible heat pump is in cooling mode, the room thermostat detects the room humidity and calculates the dew point temperature.
Central control unit
The central control unit can also be converted into the TECEfloor Smart Home control system, through which the room thermostat and the new switch module can be easily set up. The switch module can control (turn on and off) a wide range of devices depending on time, temperature or dew point. For example, the circulating pump or lighting can be set (switched on and off) by time, the electrically heated surface can be turned on depending on the temperature, or the dehumidifier can be started in case of high humidity.
TECE Smart Comfort applet
The TECEfloor Smart Home smart home control system can be connected to the TECE Smart Comfort applet or common voice-activated devices via wireless network and operated. Connected (paired) devices can be easily controlled from any location at any time via the mobile extension of these central control units, and the intuitive user interface makes setup easier and smarter. At the same time, the existing encryption technology can also ensure the security and reliability of data transmission.

There, for example, over 150 compression fittings alone are tested with all pipe types in 5,000 runs for their behaviour during temperature changes.
DIN-tested safety
Independent testing brings safety: that's why TECE participates with TECEfloor in the certification programme for plastic pipe and composite pipe routing systems for hot water surface heating systems and radiator connections. Pipes and fittings for the underfloor heating system are certified by an independent institute and tested individually and as a system every six months.
