French flair characterises new district in the state capital
The H2 Hotel in Düsseldorf sets modern accents
Even Napoleon recognised his Paris during his visit to Düsseldorf in 1811. Since then, the present-day capital of North Rhine-Westphalia has been entitled Little Paris. A comparison that is being revived with the new district "Le Quartier Central" not far from the Hofgarten. On the site of a former marshalling yard and goods station, one of NRW's largest urban development projects of recent years has been tackled.
In the urban environment, a modern district was created in which flats and offices of service companies coexist on an equal footing. "Le Quartier Central" welcomes residents and visitors alike in a cosmopolitan, modern and sophisticated way. Exactly the right atmosphere for the first H2 Hotel in Düsseldorf.
Modern accents and contemporary design
On Toulouser Allee, a 100-metre-long frontage has shaped the young urban district since its completion in summer 2022. The ground floor has an angular asymmetrical façade, while the upper floors stand out with tidy vertical and horizontal elements that give the elongated building a lively appearance.
The hotel building covers a site of almost 2,000 square metres and has 250 rooms as well as 99 underground parking spaces. The comfortable and practically furnished rooms are divided into two- and four-bed rooms and appeal to a wide range of target groups with their ambience - from business travellers and globetrotters to families who love to travel.
Modular sanitary systems optimised for hotel use
For the planning and construction, system components such as the modular sanitation systems from TECE were used from the very beginning. The sanitary facilities in the H2 Hotel in the Quartier Central, for example, were completely equipped with TECEprofil toilet modules with integrated hygienic flushing. These are particularly optimised for use in a hotel and impress with their lasting value.
Particularly in hotel complexes the size of the H2 Hotel with its 250 rooms, it can happen that rooms and sanitary facilities are not used for longer periods of time. In such cases, TECEprofil toilet modules with integrated hygiene flushing ensure automated operation of the drinking water system. Stagnation in the pipes is avoided and microorganisms cannot multiply in the first place, because the water in the pipe network is automatically replaced after a programmable time interval when the system is empty.
Clever toilet modules already convince in the planning phase
The TECEprofil toilet module with integrated hygiene flush is a well-thought-out system unit, and not just during operation. Because a major advantage already lies in the planning phase: Thanks to these clever TECEprofil modules installed in the H2, the planning and placement of separate flushing units with inspection opening as well as their supply and waste water pipes are no longer necessary.
In addition, time and costs can be saved during the construction phase. As the electronic drinking water hygiene flush is integrated in the selected cistern, the module can be installed directly. As a rule, no further components are necessary. All components are pre-configured ex works. The compact system works completely autonomously and can be set and adapted to the respective requirements via app.
Comfort at the touch of a button
The TECEloop toilet flush plates give a haptic and visual impression of the modern technology behind them. The stylish operating elements pick up on a clear design language that reflects the well-thought-out interior design of the rooms. Two differently sized round buttons for full and partial flushing leave no questions unanswered and in this way underline the modern and lively design of the H2 Hotel in the Quartier Central with every touch.
