Manoah: Oasis of peace at the Zeulenroda Sea
Manoah comes from Hebrew and means "place of rest". And indeed, it is a true oasis of rest that awaits relaxation-seeking and nature-loving holidaymakers at the exclusive nature retreat MANOAH am See. Situated in the midst of lush forests, the three-hectare luxury holiday home complex in the Thuringian resort with 21 chalet-like domiciles made of solid wood impresses with its direct proximity to nature and at the same time the highest level of comfort. The ideal place to enjoy a holiday in a completely mindful and conscious way and to leave everyday life behind.
Sustainability, regionality and functionality were always at the centre of the conception of the extraordinary lake houses carried out by the architectural office Müller & Lehmann. From the very beginning, the involvement of regional companies and the use of sustainable building materials were of particular importance. For example, the Holz100 building system from Thoma does not use any toxic wood preservatives, glues or metal. Instead, wood from sustainable forestry and high-quality natural materials such as bricks and natural slate are used. The environmentally friendly concept also convinced the jury of the Thuringian Energy Efficiency Award 2020, which awarded MANOAH silver.
Sustainability and luxurious design are also at the forefront of the interior design of the 60 to 80 m² holiday homes: the furnishings of the houses focus on a purist and natural Scandinavian look. State-of-the-art sanitary technology from TECE also meets the highest standards of comfort and design in the bathrooms and completes the high-quality overall concept of MANOAH.
